This 2,400 acre Park boasts magnificent crystals cascading from cave wall. You will find it inspiring, exciting and tranquil all at the same time.

On the National Historic Register, Colossal Cave and historic La Posta Quemada Ranch has cave tours, Western trail rides, camping and picnicking.

A regular tour of the Cave takes about 45-50 minutes and the tour is a half mile long. If tight squeezes, narrow ledges and crevasses are your thing, this tour is for you.  Daily tours happen year round and require no special clothing except comfortable closed toe footwear. What you will need however, is a camera!

You will traverse about six and half stories and learn about cave formations including  stalactites, stalagmites, flowstone, boxwork, and helictites.

While the temperatures in Arizona can soar, in the Cave it is always a cool 70°F and remains dry. Colossal Cave is open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
